We can make the policies look mean, but the actual rules are simple. Here is what to expect when you order freshly roasted coffee from us.
We currently ship within the United States. Shipping is $10 for merchandise totals of $50 or less and free when the merchandise total is over $50. Because we roast after you order, please allow up to seven days from purchase for roasting and delivery.
Coffee is a perishable food product, so we cannot accept returns of opened coffee or returns based only on taste preference. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing an item, email us within seven days of delivery. We will review the issue and make it right with a replacement or refund when appropriate.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Once roasting or fulfillment has started, the order might no longer be cancellable.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Checkout is hosted securely by Stripe. Chit-E Coffee Co. does not receive or store your full card number or security code.
We use order details to process payment, roast and ship your coffee, provide customer service, and maintain required business records. We share information only with service providers needed to complete those tasks, such as Stripe and shipping carriers. We do not sell customer information.
We also count catalog views, coffee profile views, and add-to-cart actions to understand how the shop is used. These activity counters store only daily totals, not IP addresses, emails, browsing histories, or visitor identifiers. They use no analytics or advertising cookies, and we remove totals older than 90 days when recording or reviewing activity. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these browsing counts. Order records are kept separately.
